To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anzen-kan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, whether in an action in contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from or relating to:

• Any conduct or content of third parties on our services
• Any content obtained from our services
• Any other matter relating to our services

In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ¥100,000, whichever is greater.

4.3 Consequential Damages Exclusion

We shall not be liable for any consequential, indirect, or special damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, wasted management or office time, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
